Photography At the age of 13, I first taught myself the basics of photography ‘on paper’ from the ‘Quelle’ photography catalogue. My first camera was a ‘Revue 3’ – a Russian rangefinder camera made by FED, as I now know – which very quickly developed a ‘gear misalignment’ problem. Nevertheless, I stuck with it and remain an enthusiastic amateur photographer to this day. Cocktails In French films of the 1970s and 1980s in particular, there was always a great deal of smoking and drinking. Taking a closer look at the cinematic genius Luis Buñuel, who was a great lover of cocktails in his private life, led me to acquire the necessary knowledge and the few essential items needed to mix drinks at home.
